Using social media - how to use social media to raise your profile, communicate your social mission and generate business for your organisation

With the breaking down of traditional print models of journalism and the growth of social media and blogging, there has never been a better time for committed, clever and savvy people to make their mark on public debate.

Social media including Twitter, Facebook and blogs are vital tools for charities, community groups and social enterprises to get their message across.

This sessions will explore key questions including:

How do you use social media to make people aware of your ideas and your organisation?

How do you use social media as a way of helping people to understand your social mission?

How can social media develop the profile of your work and develop new contacts and new business?

Social Spider CIC’s trainers, Mark Brown (@markoneinfour) and David Floyd (@davidsocialsp) will take you through the basics of using social media, explain how the marketplace of ideas works and help you to recognise, explore and disseminate what's important about what you do.

Tickets - £30 including all fees.
